BBA Program

The BBA Program offered by IBS is a 3-year campus-based program designed to enhance the skills and competencies of talented and ambitious young aspirants. During the years of study, the students will obtain a broader perspective on the nuances of managing at a time of great change, and acquire the skills to lead teams and organizations to success in a globalized, competitive business environment.

Program Structure

The BBA Program is divided into 6 semesters spread over 3 years. The program comprises of 42 courses (of which 35 are compulsory, 5 are electives and 2 are soft skills). In addition there are two summer internship programs, one at the end of the first year and the second one at the end of the second year to provide corporate exposure to the students.

Finance, Marketing, HRM and IT & Systems, Entrepreneurship. Students have the flexibility in choosing their elective streams.

Admission Modalities
The Admission modalities are with reference to the BBA Program offered by ICFAI Business School (IBS) Hyderabad of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE).

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 55% and above marks (any discipline) with English as medium of instruction.
The applicant should fulfill the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective board through which the applicant has appeared for the qualifying examination.
If an applicant is found ineligible even at a later date, after admission into the program, his/her admission will be cancelled. All admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/ documents of the applicant. The decision of the Admissions Committee regarding eligibility of any applicant shall be final.
The selected applicants will be given the selection letters on the date of Interview and will be given Provisional Admission. The provisional admission is subject to payment of admission fee.
Applicants who have appeared for Class XII (or equivalent) examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply provided they complete their examinations (including practical examinations) before August 01, 2017. The admission of applicants will, however remain provisional until they produce marksheets establishing their eligibility. The last date for submitting the proof of Class XII (or equivalent) marksheet is September 15, 2017, failing which the provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled.

Applicants interested in applying for the BBA Program can avail any one of the following registration facilities available through the web:

  • a. Fill and submit the Application Form available on online, make a payment of Rs. 600 towards registration fee using credit card (Visa/Master Card/ Citibank Card) / Debit Card / Net Banking through the secure internet payment gateway.
  • b. Download the Application Form, complete it, and send it to the Admissions Officer, The ICFAI Group, # 65, 3rd Floor, Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad-82. Telangana State, Ph: 040- 23440966 along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 600 towards registration fee in favor of “IFHE - Prospectus Fee A/c BBA 2017” payable at Hyderabad. Prospectus and Application Material will be sent to such applicants.

Selection Process
The selection for the program is made based on merit. Eligible applicants are required to apply for the program using the Application Form Final selection will be made based on personal interview.

Caution Deposit
Students of BBA Program are required to pay a caution deposit of Rs. 10,000 along with the first semester fee. The caution deposit will be refunded without interest and after adjusting for dues, if any, to the students on completion of the program.

Accommodation and Transportation:
Limited hostel rooms are available at the campus on twin sharing basis. Day Scholars can avail bus facility from City to IFHE Campus on payment basis.

Merit Scholarships
IFHE offers merit scholarships to the students pursuing the BBA Program. The scholarships are based on past academic record in Class XII and Semester-wise performance during the BBA Program.

  • Merit Scholarships based on past academic record: Students will be awarded merit scholarships based on percentage of aggregate marks achieved in qualifying examination (Class XII or its equivalent). Scholarship will continue semester after semester only on maintaining the minimum 6.0 GPA in the previous semester.The details are as presented in the following table.

Merit Scholarships based on Semester-wise Performance: Up to 10% of the students of the batch will be awarded merit scholarships based on the Semester-wise performance in the BBA Program (Details presented in the table given below). These scholarships are awarded in addition to the scholarships based on the past academic record.

Bank Loans
