40,000 + Alumni Base|9 Campuses |1 Cell Alumni Relations Cell,

IBS Hyderabad, was established on February 12, 2011. A student body, that strives to maintain relations with the alumni of IBS. IBS is fortunate to boast of a nexus of extremely effective brand ambassadors. There are over 40,000 IBS alumni who are pursuing rewarding careers in more than 900 blue-chip companies across India and abroad. Their success in the corporate world is a testimony to their skills, abilities and hard work, as well as to the quality and rigour of business education at IBS.

Alumni Relations Cell works towards ensuring the mutual benefit of the alumni as well as the students. ARC helps the alumni in staying connected to their alma mater. Through regular events and interactions with the students, the alumni get a chance to share their experiences and impart the knowledge they have acquired to the next generation of IBSites.

ARC has been instrumental in organising the Alumni Meets, Mentorship Programme, regular Guest Lectures by distinguished alumni in the campus and publishing the quarterly alumni magazine “Connections”.

The flagship event, Nostalgia, is a one-day fest where alumni from all IBS campuses come together. The essence of this meet is to recreate memories from the past and enable alumni to cherish them for the time to come where the shadow of growing older falls away from countenance.

The Mentorship Programme is a unique initiative, which helps the present students of IBS to be mentored by their own esteemed alumni whose wealth of knowledge and experience is incomparable and second to none.

In addition to building the reputation of IBS with their success, the alumni remain in touch with each other and with their alma mater through the IBS Alumni Federation (IBSAF), it was established on 1997. Through this foundation, the IBSAF awards are conducted every year to reward a select few students who have performed outstandingly well during their Summer Internship Programs.

Rendezvous, a corporate dinner, gives alumni from different batches a networking opportunity.

Summit-The Supper Alumni Meet, an event that caters to the alumni batch who celebrate their 20th Anniversary as the alumni of IBS. Summit helps pave the path to enrich our connections with them and rekindles the bond between the alumni and the Institute.

Alumni Relations Cell conducts a four day Mock GD-PI process for the final year students of IBS to prepare them for their future placements. The esteemed alumni along with our distinguished faculty form a panel to question the students on their respective specialization. This gives a glimpse to the students about the placement process that they would be going through.

Connections-a quarterly magazine is the voice of the alumni community. It contains a plethora of articles from alumni, students, IBS faculty and a lot more. The magazine helps us connect alumni, institute and students together.
