IBS, Hyderabad a constituent of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher
Education, is one of the top business schools in the country. As a
B-school known for excellence in management education, we
develop the resources with the right set of knowledge, skills and
attitudes to meet the requirements of the corporate world. Our
vision is to develop lifelong resources to the industry by integrating
Teaching, Research, Institution building, Community development
and Knowledge sharing (coined as IBS TRICK). We have a pool
of faculty members with a blend of strong academic and industry
experience which ensures richness in implementing IBS TRICK. We
strongly believe that return on investment (ROI) depends on return
on knowledge (ROK). The curricula of IBS is industry-orientated with
case pedagogy comparable with the best across the globe, ensuring
good return on knowledge. As a result of richness in curricula, case
pedagogy, industry recognition and accreditation at both national and
international levels, IBS has attracted collaborations with the best
foreign business schools.
We have about 30 Student Club for both curricular and extracurricular activities. Students take active part in these clubs. They help students understand the nuances related to managing people, behavior of people, leadership skills and working in teams, which is the key to becoming successful managers. Another important activity is our Syndicated Learning Activity (SLA) affairs, general knowledge, domain knowledge, group discussion skills, attitudes and behavioral aspects. After successful training through SLA, the students get exposure on Mock group discussions, Mock company tests and Mock interviews where industry experts get involved. These activities improve the students’ ability to get placed by aligning their Knowledge, Skills and Attitude which are the key requirements of the job market.
Through our Summer Internship Program (SIP), our students get exposure to the dynamics of the professional corporate culture which develops the cognitive skills among our students. Continuous interaction with industry, experts talk and feedback forms the base for upgradation of the curricula which differentiates IBS from other business schools. Corporate Relations Cell, Alumni Network, Management Development Programs and Mentoring have enhanced the skillsets required to achieve placements.
